About Us
“A free to join club that offers financial, technical and social benefits?
Sounds too good to be true - but it’s not!”
Carl Liversage, Co-founder
Who are we and what do we offer?
The Four Wheel Drive Club is an all marques 4x4 club. The aim of the club is to provide a fun and friendly place to exchange knowledge, advice and
adventures with all 4x4 owners, whether they have never taken their tyres off the tarmac before or are hardened mud-pluggers.
If you have a 4x4 fault, modification or accessory question then please join our forum where you can exchange information with other 4x4 owners
and often solve many known problems.
If you would like to get out and about with your 4x4 to test it's
capabilities we organise events including green lane days, pay and
play days, geocaching laning days, treasure hunts, camping weekends
and are aimed at all levels of skill. Events are primarily in the South
East but we often venture out further a field camping in Wales, Devon
and play sites across the UK. The emphasis is always safety first and
following the 'GLASS' code of conduct. We are also a member of
ACSMC (Association of Central Southern Motor Clubs) and have access
to their vast array of events.
By joining you will have access to 4x4 advice, tutorials, Club
discounts on selected products and much, much more. We also offer
friendly advice on vehicle preparation, off road driving, recovery
equipment, accessories, vehicle modifications and safety.
The camaraderie and support between members is unsurpassed; we all
enjoy helping each other out of a sticky 'stuck in the mud' moment and members of our team are regularly to be found underneath each others cars
making quick repairs.
We also have introduced the ‘FWDC Assistance Scheme’ where members who have registered to the scheme have access to a database of fellow
owners that they can call upon if stuck or need assistance. A benefit unique to the Four Wheel Drive Club!
The club is free to join and any proceeds from the sale of goods etc will be used to fund future events and other member benefits. There are
limited items in our club shop; we don't intend stocking all 4x4 parts and accessories but aim to have some selected items for general use.
This club was launched on 1st May 2008 by Carl Liversage and Nick Gage, click on either of our names if you want to send us an e-mail.
If you prefer to speak to one of the team then call the club hotline 07017 44 44 94. Thanks and we hope to welcome you as a member shortly!
